Chapter 33Don pulled up in front of the tall chrome and glass condo on Century Boulevard. He left the blinkers on and went inside. The guard at the desk glanced up from his magazine when Don approached. “I would like to see Trace Nelson. Tell him it’s Don Gibbs.” “Just a minute, and I’ll see if he’s in.” The guard picked up a phone and dialed a number on the keypad. Don could hear it ringing from where he stood, and then it picked up. There was a hurried conversation, and the guard gave him permission to enter.
