Chapter 35Don was relieved when Micah walked into the restaurant the next morning. He rose from his table and kissed him, not caring that Sharon or the other wait staff present saw them.
“Where did you go? I thought you would come back.”
“I went to the observatory, and I had a conversation with Ben. I invited him to the party.”
“I was going to invite him myself, but at least one of us thought about it. You look worried, but the event will be perfect, and if you’re worried that one of the Nelsons will show up, don’t think about it.
