For the rest of the evening, I parked my wheelchair by the floor-to-ceiling grid window on the first floor. Anyone wanting to discuss a collaboration with me would bring a glass of wine over, and upon my permission, they’d sit on that corner sofa and initiate a conversation then.
Those who had walked by and sat down included women and men, human and supernatural creatures; without any exception, they were all top players in their industries.
