SEBASTIAN'S P.O.V.

After freshening up I received Angela's text, calling me to her room & requested me to bring the papers. Sighing, not knowing what Alex would react this time but it was inevitable. But now seeing Sarah's conditions, I was having second thoughts.

ALEXANDER'S P.O.V.

I remember about the time after our one-year anniversary. We only invited a few friends over that time, even Dad with his fling. At that time like Sebastian I had brought a date with me. I even remember both our dates's name, mine was a tall Nigerian beauty named Anais. She was smart for she works as a freelance journalist, I kind of have a kink for nerds. Sebastian's date was the governor's niece named Brittany. She was kind of snobbish, curvy & blonde. An airhead version of you ask me & downright annoying. Sarah, who was still smarting from our last s****l activity 2 days ago. Stood besides our maid Margaret, with her help our girl looks as fresh as a daisy. Even though Sarah had covered all those marks we gave her much to Angela's disapproval. She wanted to humiliate the girl but neither of us brothers wanted that. The only person who was against the treatment given to Sarah from the beginning was Tyler. He said that his restaurant had corraborated with Jefferson's cafe a couple of times. He was on friendly terms with Drake & Sarah, but Angela gave us a distorted version of their meeting. Even though we never asked for any specific details. Both had given us their own versions & naturally we believed our baby sister. Sarah had volunteered in baking our anniversary cake with Sebastian's permission. Of course asking our preference in a submissive manner. We both love dark forest chocolate or rather any chocolate, with fruits or plain but no nuts. I love nuts but Sebastian has peanut allergy. But Angela insists on buying an expensive one from a famous bakery but I wanted a home baked one. So Sarah took over the kitchen that day & I was momentarily mesmerized seeing the sparkle in her soft brown eyes. So was my brother who simply denied that he was also spellbound. I admit that Sarah's innocence was her charm & naive nature her downfall. For if I had known that our first anniversary would turn out to be a failure. A misunderstanding as Garrett & I found out later but the damage was done. Anyway, I still remember that heavenly smell of warm baking in the kitchen. Our mother was an expert in that department. She loved to bake & cook for our family when she was alive. One of the reasons why Dad fell in love with her. We were barely teenagers when our Mom died, we were devastated. Mom also love Tyler & Garrett as her own kids. They were heartbroken as well. Even though our maid Margaret had forbidden us not to enter the kitchen. Saying that it was a surprise, despite that I could hear the girl's happy humming & her chatting with the others. Beside me Angela rolls her eyes, then stomps her foot & walks away. I glance at Tyler in question he simply shrugs indifferenly. Sebastian was at the dining table working on his laptop. I could tell that he can easily hear our wife's happy banter. True her demeanor with us was timid & awkward. Eventually we tried to break it yet she was still wary. Sebastian hardly interacted with her unlike me & Tyler. Garrett warmed up to her after a year & a half. But Lukas instantly clicks with her which Sebastian clearly showed his displeasure. Even though it was Sebastian who took her virginity before me. He still treats her as a stranger or rather our sister's abuser. Anyway party began at 7:30 p.m. sharp. I was wearing charcoal grey tuxedo while Sebastian was in navy blue. Sarah's dress was off shoulder, cream coloured floor length dress. Lukas's anniversary gift to her & she looked stunning. Her face was devoid of any heavy make-up, just light pink gloss & nude eyeshadow. But I could see Angela fuming, Tyler tried to calm her down but she simply wears a scowl. She wanted to be the center of attention like always.

TYLER: "Let it go this once, sweetheart, it's her day today. Let her be with her husbands."

ANGELA:(Growls low)"Never, she deliberately upstages me every chance she gets. She was always like that even in my school days. Besides they are my brothers first & I shall make her pay tonight with their help."

ANAIS:(Grimace)"Wow, no offence, Alex, I know that she is your beloved sister. But what does she mean that your wife shall pay?"

ALEXANDER: "You heard her?"(Nods her head, making me frown)"Relax, I'm sure it's nothing."

LUKAS:(Sarcastically)"Of course, she is just a child, letting off some steam. But still I would keep an eye on her, my friend."

I simply ignored his jab, true my sister never liked to be ignored no matter what. At times I find it endearing but sometimes disturbing. Its true she was spoilt especially by Sebastian, Tyler often warned us to back off a bit, after their marraige. Instead we continued which resulted Sarah Jefferson to enter our lives. She was a rather shy hostess despite having our dates we accompanied her. She & Anais found the same liking in being a writer, they sort of began best friends. As for Brittany, she hardly paid a hoot just kept clinging to Sebastian like a leech. Sarah, being polite, mentions that she & few friends had voted for her father's political campaign. No reaction just a cold shoulder. Tyler had joined Sarah in the kitchen as the time was coming near. I saw Angela & Brittany whispering something in the corner, not sure what but I should have interfered. Next they hurried into the kitchen, then the lights were switched off. Soon we heard the chanting from the girls & the cake was being wheeled in. Lights on, Angela & Brittany cheered as we everyone murmured in approval at the three layers of dark chocolate cake. At first we assumed that this was made by Sarah but a couple of things seemed off. First, both Sarah & Tyler were missing. Brittany here was cutting the cake passing them to us & the guests.

GARRETT:(Waves his hand)"Whoa, whoa, there now. What's the rush, this is Sarah Thorne's cake & she ought to be doing the honors...!"

BRITTANY:(Scoffs while cutting in)"As if, that tramp doesn't know any ettiquets about hosting a grand party like yours truly."

Her giggles began to irritate me as my eyes search for her.

SEBASTIAN: "Angela, where is your husband?"

BRITTANY:(Giggles)"Oh, you mean her hottie of a husband? Well, he somewhere else humping that little b***h somewhere. So forget about them, Sebby. Enjoy the cake."

As she practically shoves a piece into Sebastian's mouth. Then I hear two loud familiar loud voices.

TYLER+SARAH: "Harmony, stop her."(Shoves through the crowd)"Sebastian, no spit the cake out, don't swallow."

Next the cake was being pushed towards Angela & Brittany, both got covered with the gooey stuff. As for Sebastian, to my horror he began to choke, his face was swelling turning red. I managed to catch him before he collapses. This has happened before on his 13th birthday & he was hospitalized for 2 weeks. Peanut allergy? Sarah moves towards us, unbuttons his shirt by removing his tie. I watch anxiously as she pulls out some kind of a stick & inserts it on my brother's neck. Everyone murmurs as they watch.

SARAH:(Cups my cheek)"He is going to be okay, Alex, don't worry."

Before I could say a word a loud screech echoes the room, making me wince. Sarah's face blanched as my sister suddenly grabs her by her hair & starts slapping her.

ANGELA:(Bellows)"This is all your fault, you slut, you did this on purpose. You always ruin everything, this time I shall make your life a living hell."

Brittany, starts throwing tantrums like a 5 year old. Tyler was trying to release Sarah from his wife's hold. Dad looks at me with a grim look, he had tasted the cake.

DAD: "Alexander, you did mention that the girl made this cake, correct?"(Slowly nodding)"Well, did you fail to tell 'her' about your brother's peanut allergy?"

I frown as I help Sebastian up, who was recovering. I taste the cake & to my shock it had peanuts in it, I began to see red. She tried to harm my brother?! That mantra was going through my mind. Tyler managed to free the distraught girl from Angela, who kept shouting profanities. Garrett & Lukas began to escort the guests towards the garden. When a loud voice bellows, 'ENOUGH'!

ANGELA:(Points at Sarah)"Don't look at me, Seb, it's all her fault she had planned all this."

BRITTANY:(Sobs pitifully)"Look at me, Sebby, this was supposed to be our night & this jealous b***h ruined everything."

At that time I wasn't thinking rationally after seeing my brother in that condition. I remember glaring at Sarah who looked not only pale but tries to say something.

TYLER:(Growls)"What the hell are you talking about? Sarah had no hand...!"

ALEXANDER: "Brittany told us that you two were together."

TYLER:(Frowns)"Well, obviously, yeah, I mean we were in the kitchen getting...! Sebastian, don't."

Sebastian was livid as he grips Sarah by neck then he drags her to the nearest room. Angela & I follow with Tyler trailing behind. Sarah was whimpering from being manhandled but I chose to ignore her.

TYLER: "No, don't you do anything drastic, just listen for once. Alex, please, just hear us out."

Sebastian throws Sarah on the floor as Angela shuts the door at her husband's face then locks the door.

SARAH:(Sobs)"Please, I didn't do anything, just let me...!"

ANGELA:(Scoffs)"You have the audacity to speak to us after you tried to poison my older brother, ruined the party & on top of that. Look, you ruined my expensive one of a kind dress. You did it on purpose."

Sebastian was undoing his belt as Sarah crawls towards me.

SARAH:(Grips my hand)"Please, just hear me out, I didn't do anything. Everything was going perfect when Angela & Brittany pushed...AHH!"

I remember that I was holding Sarah's wrists in my hand as Sebastian hits her with the belt. Her clothes began to tear & blood was seeping out. Her back, legs & arms, I refused to show any empathy that night. Much to my regret. She has passed out by then but next Angela grabs the belt from Sebastian. Then she starts hitting her, shouting ugly profanities, a few moments later Sebastian pulls her back. Outside I could hear Tyler & Lukas shouting, banging the door. Huffing, I open the door, Lukas pushes his way inside, Tyler & Garrett came next. Tyler sucks in air seeing Sarah's state, Garrett mumbling something under his breath & Lukas was on the verge of tears. Without a word Sebastian & I leave the room, Angela pulls a numb Tyler out. I see Margaret rush inside not before glaring at us. Seriously!? Angela had changed her dress looking absolutely chirpy she even lend one to Brittany who once again clings to Sebastian. Anais hardly said a word to me as she completely ignores me. A couple of hours later we saw Lukas & Tyler bringing in a chocolate cake similar to the one much earlier. I watch Brittany's face turn red as she glares at Angela. Everyone became silent as we watch Tyler hand Sebastian a knife.

LUKAS:(Claps his hand)"Well, buddy boy, what are you waiting for? Cut your anniversary cake which your poor wife worked so hard on."

We both gape at his words, I glance at Tyler who simply nods his head. Neither of us moves, trying to analyze the situation.

GARRETT: "But if this is 'the' cake which Sarah had made then?"

Sighing, Lukas takes the knife in his hand cuts the cake. Gives one to me then Sebastian.

LUKAS:(Shrugs)"Beats me, ask these two ladies who were so desperate for stealing Sarah's thunder. Tyler told me that the cake hadn't set in yet before these two brought the peanut infested cake in."

TYLER: "Before we could say or do anything, Angela ordered two bodyguards to shove us both in the pantry & locked it. Luckily I was able to unlock the door with the help of Sarah's hairpin. She read the receipt of a famous bakery, it had peanuts in it."

The guests gasp in horror at the revelation, next to me Anais takes a bite of the cake.

ANAIS:(Hums softly, eyes closed)"Wow, tastes absolutely heavenly, so good."(Takes another bite)"Hmm, try some, Alex, much better than the previous one. So soft & moist, it has strawberries in it. Yum, my favorite."

Sebastian takes a bite as well do I, oh God, we both stare at each other wide-eyed. We both love strawberries, any cakes & stuff with fruits. Even Dad was in awe as he takes a big bite.

DAD:(Licks his lips)"She is right, boy, it is delicious. Reminds me of your Mom's but this one is much better."

SEBASTIAN:(Licks his finger)"So where did that cake come from?"

BRITTANY:(Raises her hand)"Um, I had ordered the cake with Angela's help. But she told me that it would be much better than hers so...!"

GARRETT:(Sarcastically)"Didn't Angela inform you about Sebastian Thorne's allergy?"

She quickly shakes her head, looking mortified. As for Angela, she simply vanished into thin air. Everyone enjoyed the cake & other dishes prepared by our little wife. Margaret, who was serving the guests, came near me. Before I open my mouth she holds up her hand, looking visibly upset.

MARGARET:(Curtly)"If you must know, Master Thorne."(Sebastian & I both flinch a her tone)"I have tended to the young Mrs. Thorne's wounds. I've given her sedatives & painkillers after getting her something to eat. She is sleeping in the guest room, tonight."

I bit my lips as I could feel Tyler's accusing glare & Sebastian's shoulders slumps. The ladies turn to Tyler & Margaret hoping to get the recipe. As soon as the guests departs including our Dad & Anais but Brittany remains. She once again clings to Sebastian but he pushes her aside. Walks towards the mansion & we follow him.

BRITTANY: "But, Sebby, I thought perhaps we could go out & have some fun."

I groan at this woman's stupidity as Sebastian whips around giving her a cold glare. A look that can literally make a melting glacier freeze again.

SEBASTIAN:(Bellows)"JAMES, LEONARD!"

Sebastian knows the names of all the guards, retired & new even his employees. His memory was as fast as the computer, he hardly forgets a name. The two giants, trust me they were bigger & older than both of us. They both dashed towards then stood before us, that made Brittany whimper as she cowers behind me. I roll my eyes in annoyance. Angela was still missing, where is she? I glance at Tyler who seemed oblivious but I noticed that his eyes were red.

SEBASTIAN:(Putting away his phone)"Boys, escort Miss Stewart out of my premises, her driver shall arrive to pick her up."

Garrett & I sigh in relief as Lukas grins but Brittany starts to stomp her foot.

BRITTANY:(Screeched)"No, I'm not going anywhere, I'm staying here tonight with you, darling."(Pressed her body against his)"No need in playing hard to get, Sebby, I'm all yours tonight. You want me I know you do."

THIRD PERSON'S P.O.V.

Alexander snorts his annoyance then heads inside with Garrett, Tyler & Lukas. Sebastian was seething inside as the bimbo refused to budge. He was still smarting about what he did to his wife on their first anniversary. Of course she was told about his allergy, his mother had it too. Deep down he somehow knew that she wouldn't be careless. Yet after recovering & seeing his sister in a disheveled state made him snap. He could not bear it even Alex but no one hurts or humiliates their baby sister. He assumed that Sarah hadn't learnt her lesson which is why he did that. The bodyguards just stood there looking uncomfortable, Brittany was batting her eyelashes at him. A horn toots nearby signaling the bimbo's ride.

SEBASTIAN:(Pushes her away)"Gentlemen, take her away."

Without a backward glance he heads inside. He entered the room, Garrett was on phone talking in an urgent tone. On the bed, he sees Sarah still in her tattered dress but she had a loose shirt on. He sucks in breath, seeing her condition. Tyler was sitting on the bed with his head in his hands. Alex was on the floor, stroking her hair & kissing her hand. Margaret & the maids had retired for the night after cleaning up a bit.

LUKAS: "If you must know, bud, Sarah is having a fever. Garrett is on the phone with the doctor."

Sebastian felt guilty, she tried to say something but as usual he found it irrelevant.
