Selena's POV
Being in the pack house again was not much of a difference. The only difference now is that I pretend to be a good person to win Alpha Rowland's trust. As I had planned with Kyle, my new mate who offered to help me take down Freya. I lay there in my bed thinking about our plan and how to finally become the Luna of this pack.
My thoughts soon took another dimension as my mind wandered off the incident that happened earlier. Beta Josh was dead. I whispered lowly as I turned on the bed, laying on my right arm. Memories of moments spent together with him flashed in my mind as I kept recalling the moments. I heaved a heavy sigh as my heart became heavy. But who could have killed him? I wondered in silence.
