Elena's POV
I dashed out of the library and headed straight to the maid's quarters swiftly, shutting the door behind me. I placed my palm on my forehead as I paced around the room in anger, breathing heavily as if I were exhausted. I paused for a moment, trying to catch my breath before my mind wandered off to what happened in the library, throwing me into further anger and frustration. I clenched my hand into a fist as I continued to pace around the room but this time, a little slower. I heaved a heavy sigh as I finally came to sit on the edge of the bed, covering my face with my palms as I leaned forward.
