Alpha Rowland's POV
“I want to go and freshen up,” Selena said suddenly as she stood up from the bed, bowing to me. I gestured to her with my hand. She smiled at me faintly as she walked slowly out of the room. I lay there in my bed, exhausted and tired, as Selena left the room to her room. My mind soon drifted away from my immediate environment as I went deep in thought. Why was Selena acting all nice all of a sudden? Is she trying to earn her second chance? I asked in my thoughts.
I suddenly remembered that a letter was sent to me by my brother. I have not had the opportunity to check out the content of the letter. I could not even remember where exactly I placed the letter. What could he be talking about in there? I thought as I wiped my face with my palm.
