Elena's POV
I walked to the door to see who was knocking. I opened the door gently and slowly peeped to see who was there, and my gaze suddenly fell on a guard. I gave him a straight face and waited for him to say what brought him to our room.
“The alpha asked for you. He said you should meet him in his room.” The guard said sharply and turned to take his leave. I closed the door gently and turned around to talk to Lia, but I noticed she had already climbed onto the bed and her eyes were closed. I guessed that she did not want to be talked to, so I left the room and headed straight to Alpha's room. But why was he calling me at this hour? I asked myself in my thoughts. Not long after, I arrived at the front door of his room. I stayed there momentarily, trying to get my thinking straight.
