Elena's POV
I stood there and stared at him, a little shocked. It dawned on me immediately who was standing right before my very eyes. I instantly became angry at his presence and was not ready to speak to him.
He looked shocked, too, like he was not expecting to see me. I squinted, trying to understand why he looked surprised. He asked the question again, this time with a little subtle and calm voice. “Who do we have here?”.
“You don't remember me or what happened…between us?”. He asked slowly, emphasizing the last part almost immediately after asking the first question.
