Lucy sighed and smiled, she looked across the counter at Katie, or rather Kate, as she had demanded to be called since she turned 15. She had truly become a beautiful young lady and Luci’s heart swelled from how proud she felt to be able to call her her daughter.
Her life had been wonderful over the last ten years, and although she still missed her sister dearly, she had overcome that overwhelming grief with help from Xavier and her wonderful pack. She hadn’t seen much of Diana since that fateful day, but the last she had heard from her sister, she still hadn’t found her successor.
