I don’t know how long I have been sitting inside my father’s office. I pinched my arm a couple of times and played with my fingers but until now we still haven’t had a conversation with my dad.
Ten minutes had passed after he dropped that shocking revelation. I thought I was the only one who had something to tell them but my father’s words weighed more than what I had told them. I still can’t believe what he told us and now, I’m still waiting for him to tell me more.
I looked at my father who was seated on the couch across from me, still with an expressionless face. I don’t know what was going on in his mind. He kept staring at something as if I was non-existent. I sighed. He might have even forgotten that I was with him inside his office.
