Kiefer stood up and walked towards one of his filing cabinets. He took out an envelope inside then returned to his seat. He threw the envelope in front of me.
“I can’t believe that you fooled a lawyer just to achieve your goals. Bea asked me to tell you this, your marriage had been annulled so there’s no longer any reason for you to see each other except for the meeting she requested.
