“Dion”, I whispered his name. I ran into him and hugged him in excitement but when I did, a woman at his back was standing and looking at me with her angry eyes. Dion cleaned his throat and I released my embrace. They came in without my invitation and I felt a struck in my heart. “Ariella”, Dion faced me after di closed the door. The woman with red hair beside him is gorgeous and insecurities risen my whole system. I smiled at them forcefully and masked my jealousy. “Uhmm yes?” I asked him back. “We won't stay long. I want to tell and inform you that I already met my mate. My true mate.” He smiled looking at her. He's happy. “She's Bella.” He introduced. “ Bella, she's Ariella. The woman I told you my contractual mate.” He directly stated and my heart almost stopped beating from pain. How come Dion didn't noticed that I am hurt?! But who am I?! I'm just a contractual. I grudgingly flipped the page of the etiquette book and the light flickered inside the library room, as if the the bulbs itself was mocking me. After a few minutes when Dion came here, they also left. Just f**k them. I am not happy! I know I don't have any rights to feel this but I am hurt! I am now currently facing a huge mountain of books as a punishment from attempting to escape again. This were all written by old past officials, elders, consultants and Alpha's. But even these data of origin of the pack and other informations written lead me to boredom especially the finances and math related reports. “Why am I supposed to study this nonsense! Aish, I'm dying from here and no one will help me! I'm such a pitiful human trying to fit in them! ” I cried and stomped my feet. I felt unsatisfied and kicked the table hitting the table legs and the next thing I felt was the pain from my feet as it hit the wood. I'm really unlucky today and I wonder why I didn't check my daily horoscope today. I grabbed one book in the table and turned it upside down and let my thought wonder back why I'm now in this place. If it wasn't for Derah, I wouldn't have been on this punishment, reading such a boring book and recite laws and code of ethics for hundredths time. If it wasn't for Dion, I wasn't hurt like this. I didn't know and haven't noticed that I am falling for him. I didn't guard my own heart and hurt myself from expectations that he'll love me too. I forgot, that he has mate. Am I not his mate from his last life according to that red-glowing wolf? I shook my head, trying to get away of what had happed on that mirror. My resentment grew as I angrily switched another leaf of the poor book in my hand, which had been receiving the wrath's end of a downtrodden Ella like me. What pisses me most is that I can't understand a single phrase in this book. It's been an hour since I was dragged here, and all I've done is either castigate their works or torture the book itself. I was halfway through the book when my annoying servant decided that it was a perfect time to interrupt me. “Ariella, I brought your food.” She informed knocking and opening the door after. She's holding a tray of food in her hands as she carefully walk towards me. “Put it there”, I gestured, pointing the soft cushion across me. She nods her head and bow a little before following my orders that earned an eye roll from me. I look back at the book I was currently reading and let my frustrations spend on the books. “Ella”, Derah called while running with eyes shining brightly in my direction after the tray was putted in it's place. “Ariella”, I stressed my name glaring at her. How many times did I told her that I don't like Ella especially when we are the only one talking but she's really acting a little hardheaded continuously addressing me Ella. She played with her fingers while smiling like an i***t in front of me. “Say it”, I wince as she blinks her eyes multiple times acting like a delicate woman. “Ahmm, the Alpha already told you yesterday about it”, she paused gulping and afraid to continue her words suddenly afraid of me. “Hmm about what?” “about ahhh uhmmm hehe actually...ah eh… The…” she stuttered, unwillingly to spill the information. I gritted my teeth in annoyance and slammed the book into the table making a huge thud and leading the other books fell and scattered in the floor. Derah almost jumped from shock, her eyes bulge and she stand straight. “Spill it”, I repeated calmly. “Yourpersonalbodyguardisalreadyoutsidethelibrary”, she fastly uttered that even cheetah can't follow. “DERAH”, I warned, glaring at her. I saw how she panicked, squeezing her fingers forcefully. “slowly”, I added, eyeing her with anger. She inhaled air deeply and her arms reached her chest before the air come out her mouth. “Your personal bodyguard is already outside the library. He arrived early this morning.” Derah informed, bowing her head which I felt a little stir of curiosity and excitement from the news she brought. “Derah it's time to execute my first plan”, I wink and throw away the books in my hand leaving them flying all over the place. “Wa-wait! Ella, I-I mean Ariella where are you going?” she asked frantically while trying to tail me. I walk into the depth of library trying to find any useful things I needed for my plan. “Whats your plan Ariella? If your father caught us again, I don't think he'll spare us.” Derah nervously asked and sounded like an elder again, picking the books and putting it back in the shelves. “Yeah, right. Derah!” I smiled at her sweetly as I walk advancing in her direction. She stepped back and tried to avoid me as her looks was full of horror clasping her hands acting strangely. “Im not going to do any favor again for you.” Derah suddenly voiced out while putting her hands in between us to separate and put distance. She's smart to think I needed her for the perfection of my plan. I smiled at her deviously and snatched her hand running to the deep side of the library. Derah screamed but I am too fast to cover her mouth. Thanks to my reflexes. After half an hour of forcefully making Derah my conspirator, I carefully opened the door of the library. I kicked the door by my foot so it could open widely and enable me to go outside. The tray of food are on my hands as I smile darkly and stepped out of the door frame immidiately roamed my eyes to scan my new bodyguard. I looked left and right but found none. How could that guard left me here! I moved with my one hand and took support to my waist using the tray. I closed the door with my free hand and wink to Derah who's watching me from inside before the space was closed completely. I checked my appearance again and it looked perfect in my eyes. I am wearing Derah's clothes. A long old dress that almost fit on the floor. It was a long sleeve and my hair was tied in a bun. I wiped and cleaned my face to remove make-ups and I gave my valuable things to Derah so she could wear it for the meantime. Simple as… WE EXCHANGED IDENTITY!
