Ariella PoV "Ariella! Run! Get out of here!" my sister yelled frantically as I turned to face her. My heart rate increased, thumping violently, while my feet doubled their pace. Growls can be heard throughout the vast forest. There are claws and footsteps everywhere. In the background, howls of pain are screaming loudly, prompting me to look for one person. "Bella! Where are you?!?" I search for her in the chaos of rogues being chased to death by these unknown guards. I noticed her running in my direction and waited for her to get closer. "Bella, hurry! " I yelled, pleading with the moon goddes to let her go. Two wolves are chasing her, and my breathing has almost stopped. “bellaaaaaa! Noooooo! " I screamed hoarsely, my tears falling uncontrollably as the wolves caught up with her and lunged at her, throwing on the bark of a tree. My heart broke as I looked back at her while still running. She was captured. My cries had already become inexorably louder, and my knees began to tremble. I could hear her cries for my name. "Bella, live your life! Don't tell anyone who you are! " She smiled, and the next thing I saw was her bloodied body on the ground." The grey wolf ripped her heart out and threw it away. "bellaaaaaaaaa!" I yelled as loudly as I could. My throat began to dry up, and my voice became hoarse. My chest vibrates, and the pain goes straight to my heart. My younger sister. My only family had abandoned me. She's already gone. She left me. This familiar sensation—grief. The emotion I wished to forget. I wanted to bury that feeling. My limbs slow down, and my heart cries out in sadness. I knelt on my knees and sobbed uncontrollably. I buried my face in my hands, wiping away tears that soaked my entire face. My memories of her flash backs as I recall her presence. “HERE YOU ARE!" My body trembled as I fell to. A lump is forming in my throat, and I can't stop crying. "B*tch, don't be a cry baby," snatched the man who caught me wearing only jeans and barefoot. He dragged me up so I could stand on my own. "She's the last rogue," another man appeared out of nowhere. I didn't bother trying to understand what they were saying because all I could feel was pain and loneliness. The nothingness. "Kill me," I mumbled weakly, lifting my face to look at them both. "Kill me," I said again, but their expressions were blank. Instead of fulfilling my wish, I felt the first guy approach me from behind. I am prepared. I am prepared to meet my end. "A mere rogue isn't worthy of our time, and you don't have the authority to tell us what we need to do," he grumbled. "STOP!" yelled a teenager small voice from afar as I stood stunned in my location. It exuded authority, challenging our wolves to show respect even he sounded a kid. My wolf was energised simply by the voice and the strength in the air. "What's going on?" I wondered, my mind racing with possibilities. I scanned the entire area, looking for the voice's possible location, until the leaves began to fly above my head. The wind is squawking, making a whoosh sound. I gulped, trying to relax. Even though my body refused to cooperate and my scalp and arms were swelling from the evil men's grip on me, I clawed in the ground, screeching, and forced the wolf into a defensive stance. I took a deep breath and exhaled deeply, releasing the stress I had been carrying for a long time. I opened my mouth, revealing my white cannines, and let out a loud sound that travelled from my throat into my mouth. I detect a pleasant aroma of vines and pine trees. He has a strange smell that makes my insides feel calm and safe. The tree next to me began to sway, leaves falling, and the air screamed untamed breeze. “Escaping is still an option, right?" I said to my wolf, but before we could run, a man jumped in front of us, scattering dried leaves. He's powerful. He's dusting himself, looking down at the ground. He's dressed in a dark robe, with a hood covering his face from the darkness. I felt myself being drawn away from his eyes, which sent butterflies into my stomach. "Mate," I growled weakly into my mind, stoned those men. My feet began to move, advancing towards him, but he spoke, causing me to stop. "Release her!" he asked, pulling an arrow from behind his back and carefully inserting it into his archer, aiming it in their direction. The moonlight shines on the tip of the arrow, revealing a substance capable of killing wolves. I raised my head from the arrow tip to his face, but seeing him with a mask covering his face disappointed me. I looked into his eyes, perfect blue orbs reflecting the light escaping from the fully grown and verdurous trees. "Shift," his deep and entrancing voice ordered, making me nervous from his authority. I attempted to counteract his presence by revealing and showcasing my power. I snarled angrily and dashed into the men who had caught me earlier, attacking one of them at once. I jumped into him, pawing his arms to get them to let go. I can only see red. And this time I can't stop myself. I've lost control. As my body touched him, it felt like my anger increased, making me want to feel blood from them. "Even if you are someone's nobles man, I will not think twice about killing you!" I yelled, but the other man lunged at me and landed a powerful blow, sending me into a nearby tree and banging my head into its massive trunk. I felt dizzy, but my wolf will not accept defeat in this manner. I slammed into him and clawed his chest, growling loudly into his face and dripping saliva into my mouth. When our gazes met, I noticed how his eyes revealed a sinister side. "I am the sole survivor of the Ethereal pack; do you think you can defeat me?" I hissed, stunned them into their position. The man with the archer appeared surprised as well. After I spat the truth, the two men looked terrified. I had no idea they were still scared of our pack. They appear to be lost in their thoughts, their minds floating through thin air, forgetting that I am still engaged in this battle with them. Taking advantage of the situation, I plunged a sharp object into a hole in the man's flesh, causing a deep well of pain to emerge from his dried throat. He yanked it out, blood splattering from the arrow stab wound in his stomach. The other man appeared surprised by my attack and immediately resumed his stance. "Don't let your guard down," I advise him as I kick the dead body to the ground with a thud. "You are a monster!" The remaining man said and ran away with his scared look. "Someone who wanted to be killed but fought to survive," the archer with the mask mocks me. I glared at him, but he didn't move. As I look directly at his direction, the arrow tip is now pointing at me. I secretly pulled the dagger from my pocket and prepared to throw it at him. When he let go of the arrow that was flying in my direction, I stared at his beautiful and enchanting eyes. I raised my hand and hurled the poisonous dagger at him. I managed to avoid his attack, but I wasn't prepared for the second arrow to land on me. It sliced open my skin and pierced a burning flame on my flesh. "ARGHHHHHHH!" I screamed in agony, trembling my knees and collapsing to the ground. I cast a hazy glance at him and notice blood dripping from his chin. "I'll drag you down in my grave," I cursed as darkness began to consume my entire system. While walking away from me, I noticed his long dark robe swaying and almost kissing the ground. "I, Dion, the next Alpha of the Eastwood pack, rejects you as my mate." His words nearly brought my entire world crashing down; he's merciless! I'd lost everyone, and now I'd lost my mate. He left me there ithout looking back. "ARGHHHHHHHHH", the pain in my stomach increased a hundredfold, and even screaming couldn't help. Wounds began to hurt like hell, and all I could do was crawl while tears streamed down my cheeks. I can't go on living like this. I sobbed uncontrollably. Beseeching and cursing My body trembled as I crawled on the ground. I was exhausted. I was depressed. I attempted to gather my strength once more, this time moaning in pain as I dragged myself. I felt my head heavied until I wasn't able to lift it anymore. "Ariella" ... "Ariella"... I groaned as I violently raised my head to see who it was after few hours of being unconcious. She's dressed in her famous black robe and hat. The woman in the mirror. What exactly is she doing here? Isn't she is a he? The red-glowing wolf. "What do you want?" I barely asked between sobs, but dropped my head when it felt heavy. She chuckled darkly and squatted down to raise my jaw. Does this mean I am a werewolf too? Or am I reincarnated as a human? “Do you remember now?” She mocked while her eyes glowing blood. “Is it my last life?” I asked knitting my brows. I coughed a but with dry throat. I can't move as she still holding my jaw. “That's your worst nightmare, baby.” she replied. I looked at her without emotions and raised my brows, “are you fooling me?” I bravely asked but she chuckled and let go of my jaw. “That's your past life. You are reincarnated as a human. Dion lost his memories and was given another mate because—” she cutted her words and walk in front of me. She pointed one of her fingers in my chest, where my heart located and continued, “you are cursed.” She revealed. I chuckled a bit when I heard it. “I am cursed? HAHAHAHA yes I am but do you really think I'll believe your lies about past life? Oh come on, we are living on the twenty first century. There's no such thing.” I chook my head in disbelief and raise on my seat. I stand up and look at her. “Its fine if you don't believe me. Soon enough, your wolf will show—” —when the moon are bloodied and the sun are absent. A whole day. Wait for it, Ariella. Wait and you'll know.” She threatened and I was left dumbfounded. I was left speechless. Until I felt myself being sucked again and this time, I found myself laying on the cold floor. Unable to speak. My consciousness are active but I can't open my eyes. The sound of panic around me are loud. They are screaming and looked for help. Only one voice I am looking for but he wasn't here. And when I heard someone said, “Dion fell on the cliff with two arrows hits his heart.” my heart almost stopped. Dion.
