"Did you happen to meet my mother, or did you know her?" ” I ask. "Not personally; I had seen her a few times here, but she was always on a mission." She's one of the best agents here, but she came back running and nearly fainting one day. We just happened to find out you were in her womb at the time. " She explained. "I like her because, despite her huge problem, she manages to be positive, strong, and smart enough to deceive your uncle Arc," she continued. "That's all I know," she smiled as I nodded in response. " Do you have a photo of her?" I inquired. "I don't have any," she says, shaking her head. "But Toffy has, he's our manager, he keeps all of our information," she snarled. "Oh, could you point me in the direction of his office?" "The same place I brought you yesterday," she said as she stood in her seat, bidding her farewell because she had something important to do, which I knew was a mission. I ate my food quickly, wanting to see Toffy right away so I could see my mother's face or whatever he has from her. I rapped on the door, but no one answered. I remembered that they don't use door knobs around here because they use keyboards that require codes to be entered. I enter random numbers into it, resulting in an error message, and a red light blinks, alarming the inside of the machine. Toffy came out of his room with a handgun aimed at me, but quickly put it down when he realized it was just me. "Relax, I've got my hands up," I joked, mischievously smiling. "Why didn't you knock or find someone to show you how to use it? "He said, his face irritated. His wrinkles are visible, and the loneliness in his eyes is palpable. "I can't find anyone, and that's a convenient way for you to know I'm here," I winked. "Don't do that again, or you'll be killed by my men," he warned as I followed him into his office. The metal door shut, but I didn't mind. I noticed a few people inside wearing black suits similar to Alicia's. They all turned to look at me, and I just smiled awkwardly, mentally cursing myself for interrupting them. "Where did I stop before?" Toffy asked as I stood a few meters away from them to give them space while they talked. It would be better not to eavesdrop, and it was not my concern to attend their meeting. After a few minutes, my feet were becoming numb, so I decided to walk into one of the couches and sit comfortably. When are they going to finish that, I wondered? I'm starting to feel sleepy and hungry again. I yawned and heard chairs move, indicating that they were already done. I straightened my back as I watched them leave one by one. " Ariella, what do you want? " Toffy inquired, causing me to snap in his direction. Ariella, I'm still not used to that name, but mom gave it to me, and I think I'll use it someday. "I'll ask for favors and other things," I replied, leaning back in the couch and making myself at home. " And what exactly is all of that? "I'm all ears," he said, sitting across from me on the couch. "First and foremost, I'd like to request information and photographs of my mother." "I'll find those and send them to you as soon as my men find them," he said, as I nodded in response. "Second, I want to change my name to what my mother gave me when I was born. "Only if you can help me," I said, hopeful. " That's simple, but I'm curious if you'll go with your father's surname? “Yes” "All right, anything else?" "I know this is a lot, but could you please help me find a place to stay until I give birth?" I lowered my head and played with my fingers, as I always do. "Of course, I haven't told you that your mother left money in case you returned here." She named it after me, but I'm sure you'll come. I'll send it to your email address; do you have one? ” "Um, none”
