The Alpha's Contractual Human Mate

First shift

Few howls are heard before the dark approached. It scattered in the whole pack territory sending a bloody night. The moon started to move slowly near the sun, giving us a glimpse of the eclipse that are about to happen in the next few hours.

“Protect your baby whatever happens. I'll try my best protecting the both of you too.” Danica assured me as I give her a nod of response. The aura and environment seemed to be darker and heavy to begin with. The silence is deafening yet screams danger.

“How many teen werewolves are expected to shift on their first time this night?” I asked her, diverting the topic.

“There are 11, but I'm not sure for those no wolves who might have grown or found their lost wolves within themselves. It's kinda hard to know.”

“What so you mean found their wolves? Can it be lost?” I asked confused to her.

“There are instances that higher witches or arcle reader can make a barrier for a werewolf to hide their wolves within them. It didn't die, instead, it lives within them without knowing by the body owner. It's rare and can be count in a single hand for those who done that and experienced that way. They are superior and their body is way stronger than normal as they can manage to be apart from their wolves.” she explained in a long speech.

“Their wolves are strong too for enduring that feeling of missing their other half in the body. As well as, their mates. Wait… do they recognize their mates even their wolves are hidden?”

“Unfortunately, no. So, they will only know if they are mates after the wolf are freed.”

“Even the other has wolf?” I asked again.

“Yes”.

“Why is that werewolves can find their human mates even if they have no wolves? I mean humans don't have.” I curiously inquired, clouded with thoughts.

“Humans have souls. A human is ordinary people, they don't a wolf to be detected as mates though they are seen as low level and a punishment to whoever they are mates with.”

“But I am a human.”

“The eclipse is about to happen.” Danica interfered and she looked up at the sky. I followed her gaze and the side of the moon are already touching the side of the sun. It is already starting. I can hear faint screams and cries from the dome. “Are they starting to shift?”

“Yes, it's painful in the first time so it needed some elders assistance to tell what to do and what should not.”

“Oh, okay.” I was lost in my words when I can see the movements from the forest. “They are starting too.” I mumbled and Danica fell silent, looking at where I am looking.

“A few more minutes for a total eclipse.” Danica whispered right for me to hear.

There's a sudden urge of pain hit my head. I walked on the bed leaving Danica in the window. I sit on the sidebed and looked for a medicine or any ointment that I can be used but I found none. I forgot their medicine kit where it was put out.

My head once again pounded in pain and I groaned from the feeling. I massage my hair and grip it softly to let the feeling go. My hearing were also impaired as I can hear only sounds of terrible sounds. “Ouchhhh” I moaned when my body fell in the soft bed, feeling the pain all over my bones and muscles.

“What's happening?” Danica run on my side and touched my forehead. She keeps on asking me what's wrong and how I felt but I can't answer back.

“Arghhhhhhhh!” I screamed when I felt my left arm almost broken. I can feel it was fractured inside. I can hear Danica's voice but they seemed far. The guards assigned into me are also tending to me as I can hear men voices around. It was unclear and farther than kilometers.

I felt they moved me in the bed to fix my position but I angrily wiped them off my body. I was experiencing excruciating pain. Almost picking up my muscles one by one, and skinning me alive.

After few minutes had past, my feelings didn't change nor faded. It is added by pain like my skin are burning. My mind has something or someone whispering and wanted to take control. To take over and put me back of my mind.

I felt a cold fabric touching my wrist, raising it above my head and before I could react, I found myself being tied on the head board. I angrily tried to escape, growling and groaning painfully.

“LET ME GO!” I screamed dto them. I can't take it. I can't move and my body wanted movements so bad. I pulled out my wrist with my full force and the rope breaks. I sit on the bed but fixed by them to sit down. I'm feeling heat all over. I'm feeling the need and pain at the same time.

“Are you not going to help me, Danica?” I asked between my sobs. I can't help but cry all over what I'm feeling. It's terrible and no one will what this. I heard howls again, but this time it wasn't from others. It came out of my mouth.

I weakly looked at them with the surprise I made such a sound. They are all blurry and I can't hear them.

What's happening to me?

“Its already time.” I heard someone said in my mind and it wasn't wrong. My bones strated to pain in the fullest, cracking and expanding like there's no tomorrow. My mouth rounded in screams, pleading as I can't endure such in a pregnancy time. I felt my body changing. Physically and my mental has someone trying to take over and I am afraid to allow.

My feet, my arms, and my skin started to burn down. To feel expanding and transforming. Not until I opened my eyes, and I can see were a hairy lower body part. I wanted to brush off my eyes but I raised my hand in shock. It was also hairy. I tried screaming but a howl came out of my mouth.

“She also has a wolf! Does this mean she's a werewolf?!”
