Emily's POV

Mary called me early in the morning crying I didn't understand why until she finally let out a sigh "Emily she's missing I can't find her" I just stood there I was Frozen I have known mia since she was only 12 even tho we had a age gap we still became friends she was lonely and she while I was outgoing, she's like a little sister to me I would know if she wanted to sneak out she would of told me but why didn't she it's not like she's even snuck out before, "Mary have you checked everywhere" I hear her sob "yes I have" I think about all the spots she usually goes too "wait Mary I know somewhere she might of gone to just stay put I'll bring Shelly with me just in case" I hear Mary sniffle "alright dear" I hang up the phone Shelly is a German Shepherd she used to be a police dog but she hurt her leg really bad, if your wondering how I got her it wasn't from a shelter my dad is a cop so when he heard about Shelly he asked me if I wanted it of course I said yes I love German shepherds, her leg needed a cast so I took her to the vet, anyways she might be able to find mia, we arrive and she's already smelling her out, after a few minutes of her smelling around she picked something up there was a blanket on the ground it must of had her smell because she was trying to find mia shelly looked everywhere but no mia...
