Katrina sat on the bed and picked up her phone. Maggie nodded her head, indicating I should follow her out to the living room. "You’re thinking whoever broke in here was looking for something of Alan’s?" she asked.
"Yes, and they took her laptop for good measure. She's very lucky those two men were passing by and saw the attack. She could have ended up like her boyfriend."
"But why, Julia? It doesn’t make any sense."
"No idea. If it’s true that O’Neal was smuggling artifacts or pottery out of Guatemala, he’d have to have some place to store them. Some place that wasn’t connected to him.
