27 Fortunately, I had made a note of Liliana’s address the day I drove her home. If not, I never would have remembered how to find her house. So many of these buildings in this part of town are similar. Given that, and the numbered streets, I would have been driving in circles. I pulled into the side alley again and turned off the engine. A couple of young boys at the end of the alley were kicking a soccer ball back and forth. As I watched, one kid twisted and using his hip returned the ball to his opponent.
