I frowned with my eyes still on Evelyn. What does she mean by saying Travis had lost one of the chances of having a woman. Is she telling me that Travis is not capable of mating anyone? Is that her way to force me into accepting him?
“What exactly does that mean?” I asked and she signed briefly.
“I want to explain it to you, but if I do, I will only be hurting you.”
“Tell me,” I stopped her when she was about to walk past me.
“I can't,” she looked me in the eyes. “If you hear the truth, then you might agree to mate him out of pity and not because you love him,” she replied as she walked into the elevator.
