I wrapped my arms around my body as soon as I lost sight of the car. It wasn’t the cold but this strange feeling of loneliness. Never for once did I think I will be this lonely in the Wells pack. I was crowned Luna here. This was the first place I learnt to be truly happy, but with Derek and Daniel gone, I feel only like a stranger.
So much insecurity and now is this nudge that something terrible could happen in any moment from now. I remained outside and watched the moon appear in the sky. It’s another day and Derek is still not home. I wonder where he is right now, and if he was okay. I sighed deeply, disappointed as I returned to my apartment.
