Isabella I frowned, my heart aching as I sat on the floor by the corner of my cell. Mason was long gone, and once again I am left alone, contemplating on the terrible decision I had just made. I didn’t know it would be this hard to give up such a tempting opportunity. Isabella, what have you done? I said to myself in grief. An opportunity to see my son again was presented to me and I waved it off like it didn’t matter. Tears rolled down my eyes and I stood on my feet. I walked down to the cell gate and stared out, hoping that Mason was going to come back but he didn’t. “Mason, Mason are you there,” I called out, but the only feedback I got was my voice echoing the exact words. I felt a sharp cold in my spine. My feet were heating up. I can’t explain the feeling, but one thing is sure.
