I frowned when I noticed Mason stall. Every second I spent without getting an answer sent creeps through my nerves. “Mason.”
“Relax Luna, you are safe,” he told me. He exhaled. “I don’t know what this place is either. But Travis told me that if anyone would be able to help you then it’s the people here,” he said, getting me even more curious.
“What people?” I asked and he removed his gaze from me.
“I don’t know. It’s a small village a few miles away from the city.”
