My heart skipped at the idea of getting a doctor. I didn’t know what I am signing up for but I am only a child who wants to help Derek in any way I can. If I can attempt suicide then seeing a Doctor isn’t a terrible idea. “I will do it,” I answered. “I will see a doctor. But if I ever hurt someone again, you must promise not to stop me from taking my life.”
“Terry,” Daniel's mouth hung loose and I immediately shook my head.
“You must promise not to stop me,” I repeated. I fastened my eyes on him and he tilted his head backwards. I watched his pupil quiver and his lips part to a blunt lie.
“I promise.”
