I pulled Benjamin closer to myself with my gaze still on the young man who had just walked in. “Why are you here?” I asked calmly.
His eyebrows tiled at my question as he wrapped his arms around each other and rested his back against the wall. “I am not here to upset you or hurt you. I am only curious to know you better.”
“You already know enough. Just let us go.”
“I am sorry but I don't have the power to do that,” he replied. “I learned that Alpha Klaus is obsessed with you, and also that my father is incredibly interested in you. And it kind of makes me wonder why you attract this much attention? What makes you so special.”
