I held on to my blanket tightly, my heart racing with terror. It’s just a nightmare Derek. I waved the thought off with a swing of the head.
“You have until sunrise to get me out of here, else I will find my way out and I will destroy everything and everyone you care about.”
Salvador’s threat echoed in my head. I looked up at the wall clock and it was almost 3:00am. in the morning. That can’t be real. It was just a nightmare Derek. You only saw him in your dreams because you have been thinking of him lately. I said in my head to convince myself. But just then I felt a sharp pain in my chest. My head was hurting.
