Chapter 10: b***h detected !

“Congratulations on getting married.”

After receiving our marriage certificates we were not sure what to do next. It was only 3 pm and both of us didn’t have any other work to do. When we were thinking about how to spend our day, Krish got a call from his brother Liam.

After ending the call he turned to me and asked with hesitation in his voice.

“Well, Raven wants to see him new Sister-in-law…”

Now I could understand why he was hesitant. It practically means, he will be formally introducing me as his wife to his family….

I was not sure how I should present myself in front of them. I have met Liam earlier but that was for business. Now I will be meeting both of them…. My mind was a mess.  As if he could hear my thoughts he spoke.

“Don’t be too nervous. In my opinion, they are nothing more than a bunch of brats! Just be like your usual self.”

I nodded at him with a small smile on my face. He drove us to the hospital Raven was being treated. I was stupefied for a moment seeing the hospital’s name.

“Are you sure that this is the right place?”

“Yes… What happened? Is something wrong?”

“Nothing… Let’s go…”

Why should it be this hospital out of all? I cannot believe that I am at the hospital owned by my fiance's family. But, I don’t have anything to be worried about. As long as I don’t run into a bunch of nasty people then I guess I will be fine.

Raven’s room was at the end of the corridor. Krish knocked the door before opening it. We found that the room was empty. He immediately called Liam and asked where they were. He took me to the open space behind the hospital. It was decorated beautifully in a way that the patients could relax and take a small stroll.

“Bro! Here!” We spotted Liam in a few distance. He was waving at us with a bright smile on his face.

I politely greeted them both as I was not sure how else I should greet them. They were a little surprised to see me acting all polite to them that Liam pointed out that they both were 3 years younger than me which earned them a small giggle from me.

Liam had a blonde hair with baby blue eyes. He looked quite handsome and I could bet that he was an expert in breaking the hearts of many girls. On the other hand Raven was like a shy little boy. He had a cap on to cover his head. He looked so weak and thin. But above all he had a killer smile!

“Hi Sister-in-law! Glad to meet you. I am Raven.” He stretched out his hand in the form of greeting. I took his hand and gave him a warm smile as I greeted him back. That was when Liam butted in.

“Wait a minute! I have never introduced myself to my sister-in-law yet!! Raven beat me to it!!”

I couldn’t help but smile at him for that.

“Hello my dear Sister-in-law. I am Liam Swain and I just turned 25 this year. I am an expert when it comes to women and dating. So don’t worry. I will make sure to be a proper guide to my brother in pleasing you.”

“Pleasing me?” I looked at Krish who was standing on the sidelines. He was burning with rage. I could tell that he wanted to make Liam shut his mouth. Seeing them, I couldn’t control my laughter anymore. Raven also laughed with me while those two fought.

The happy moment didn’t last long. I could literally smell the nasty bunch approaching me as my b***h detector started giving me warning signals. 

“Oh my! Isn’t this my dear sister-in-law? What a coincidence to meet you here.” With a not so happy face this woman approached me. She leaned in closer to my face as she grabbed hold of my right hand and pressed it harder.

She turned around to face her bunch of useless friends as she continued to comment about me.

“You wanted to meet my brother’s fiance right? This is her. For a bastard of the Argarwal’s I really do wonder how she was able to reel-in my brother with her father’s help not to mention with this cripple hand of hers.”

She closed in on me once again as she continued to speak nonsense. “I heard you dared to threaten my brother in the public. Now let’s see how I will be humiliating you.”

“Your breath stinks! Oww!! My poor nose!! If you want to speak why don’t you maintain a distance?” I gave her the most disgusted look that I ever could and unclasped her hand from mine. I could hear Raven and Liam trying hard to control their laughter which only made this woman in front of me to grow red from anger.

“You slutty b***h! How could you be so shameless? Does shamelessness run in your blood? How could a w***e give birth to something good? You are just a w***e like your mother! Where is that loyal dog which keeps following you everywhere you go? I would be more than glad to give a smack on her face.”

She barked at me like a dog. These words were one of the things that would act as a trigger for my panic attack. I could feel myself struggling for air as my pulse was getting faster. Everything around me started to turn black. But strangely for the first time I realized that this was happening because I keep forgetting to breathe…

I drew in a deep breath to calm myself down. In and Out. One more time. In... and Out…. Good. I could feel my pulse returning back to normal. I could now see things clearly in front of me.  I can do it. I can give this b***h what she deserves.

After regaining my senses and calmness I walked to one of her lackeys and took the coffee from her hand. I walked closer to this b***h and simply poured the coffee all over her ugly and disgusting face.

“Oops, my hand slipped… You should cut down on your foul language a little, no wonder your breath stinks.” She was so furious that she raised her hand to give me a good slap on the face. But I caught her hand on time before it could get in contact with my skin and pushed her roughly onto the ground making her whine in pain.

“Oh! By the way Daisy is not my dog. She is my bestie!”

Within seconds her lackeys helped her up. She hissed at me looking all annoyed and left without a word. But I didn’t give a damn about her.

“Wow! Sister-in-law is so cool!” Liam broke the awkward silence with his praises. Both Liam and Raven were having stars in their eyes as they looked at me with admiration. I felt a little awkward by their looks that I had a forced smile on my lips.

Krish somehow noticed how I was feeling and asked Liam to take Raven back to his room. He looked at me with worry filled eyes.

“Are you alright?” I thought he would demand an explanation about my fiance and such but he was asking me how I was feeling. At that very moment I could feel my legs become jelly as they gave up on me. He held me up and asked me to take a few breaths to calm myself down.

Damn! This was the first time that I have shown someone my broken and weak side and I hate it. He was somehow able to read my thoughts again as he placed his big strong arms around me and pulled me to a warm embrace burying my head onto his chest.

“Don’t worry. This way, I can’t look at your face. Take your time and calm down….”
