Tobias was trembling as he stared at me. He was gripping the towel that was hanging loosely from his waist and I prayed silently that it wouldn’t slip off his hands. I wasn’t ready to see what he had in his grouch.
My teeth were clenched and I was thinking of what I would do to him. I could kill him right now and hang his dead body at the first gate which he was supposed to be guarding for every other guard to see that they shouldn’t mess with me. But that would be too brutal and the council wouldn't approve of that. Elias was lucky to get away when I was still in a good mood. Tobias was the unlucky one. He was going to pay for what he had done.
“Aren’t you supposed to be guarding the first gate?” I asked with a raised eyebrow as I made my way towards him.
