Lusia Confidence was a powerful tool. It could make you believe you could do anything, and it could also make you get yourself into a mess you can’t easily escape. That was the mess I found myself in now. I could see the fury on King Dane’s face as he glared at me. That had struck a nerve. It was a brave decision to accuse him of such a thing.
