Meanwhile...
A heavy downpour brought East Caspia's afternoon and rainforest into a world of moist. Leaves and the flowers inside the forest are drenched with the subtle rain. Animals hiding inside their homes, and the flock of birds trying to get away from the strong rain.
At the heart of the wide forest, you can see a single tree, a big one, which is almost as old as the Prince that I've fallen in love with.
Oh no, wait— he's my ex now to be precise.
A staggering ball of dark fog has been created on the trunk of the said tree, and a pair of white stilettos suddenly stood outside the dark blue sphere of fog. Revealing a young, pretty lady in her twenties in a black wrap coat and long dark blue pleated dress. Short haired and cat eyes were one of her assets.
Every vampire seems to be fancy with my beauty and the grace I've shown before. My beauty will never fade... Unless you steal my coral red ocean wave hairclip on my hair for a good minute.
I sigh in dismay, and I begin preparing myself. Why of all places that Uncle Hades can decide in which I can go out from the Underworld, why... in this place again?
I snorted, he must've been known that this is where we meet with my ex-boyfriend. He's teasing me about my relationship with Devon before.
Ugh, gross.
“And we're back to Caspia, again.” said a little voice from my ruby amulet. This little guy might be eager on testing his capabilities since we have arrived at our destination.
Also with the help of my uncle from the Underworld.
“Why? Are you excited about trying out?”
“No... Not really, m'lady. I still prefer staying there rather than staying here on Caspia.” he said nonchalantly and huffed that made me drew a smile on my face.
He did enjoy his stay in the Underworld. I mean— in his little golden playhouse built by the Queen Persephone, he can do anything. Except on inviting fire fairies inside the King's lair. Uncle would not highly approve of that.
“But hey, wanna have fun?”
“What kind of fun are you... talking about?”
I raised a brow before I lift my amulet by my fingers, facing it in front of me, “How about we collide again huh?”
“But what if the werewolves would find us?”
“Geez, why are you so being cautious now hm? Besides, they won't notice it from afar, we're inside this wide wilderness remember?”
The man inside the amulet just shook his head, his ash gray hair swaying and his voice rising, demanding for denial, “No! What if we get caught?”
“Trust me on this, okay? Besides, it's been a long time ever since I've used our collision here in Caspia. Let's do a test drive shall we?” I winked. And before he could protest, I yank away my amulet and throw it up in the air.
The amulet burst in the moist atmosphere, a bright coral red powder enveloping almost the whole wilderness. As my little man whirls himself up the skies, and in a split second, he turns into a flaming red dragon, flying above the tree where we made a portal earlier.
I drew a little smirk on the corner of my lips, relieved that I can still use my dragon here in Caspia. They must've turned down all their guards after that war. Which is a good thing for me. It will be easier for me to see the Caspia at a wide-angle with my gentle monster.
The dragon floats in a circular motion above the tip of the tall Black Ash tree, his eyes all situated on me with a smug look.
“What?”
“I swear I'll gonna smack you once we're in the Underworld again with Uncle Hades.” my dragon said through telepathy.
“It wouldn't happen, sweetheart.” I chuckled before I jumped at the tree, hoping in the branches with ease, my hand holding the branches gently with every step that I take.
And I successfully leap on my dragon's back full of soft scales. It feels like sitting on a sofa with the plastic wrap.
“Alright, boy. Let's find a place to stay for a while before we find Devon. Uncle Hades misses him so much, does he?” I said sarcastically and chuckled lowly.
And my dragon starts to fly within the clear skies of the Caspia sunset. The comfortable rays of sunset hitting my face and the cool wind complement well what I'm feeling right now.
A feeling of nostalgia and a roller-coaster mix of emotions.

He's really so close to me at this rate. And I don't know if I can survive his stares! His eyes travel from my eyes down to my nose and lips in a slow manner.
Oh Celestials, help me here! I don't want to be stuck with Devon Filosoir ever again!
“Y'know what, I only invited you to drink with me. Not to kiss me secretly in public.” he sticks his forehead on mine, eyes closed, “Why the sudden rush though?”
If only I can just drag his hair all the way out of the coffee shop, I will really do it. But not in this state where I badly need a place to hide for a minute. Until Chase's friends will walk out of the store.
“I am not kissing you, did not kiss you, and will never kiss you for your information.” I glared at him even though he has his eyes shut, “Just wait until those guys on the counter leave—”
In an instant, he opens his eyes wide, shocked at what I've said, “Guys on the counter? Why? Did they bother you with their pheromones?”
I shook my head, creating my lips into a thin line before I spoke, “They know how to control their pheromones. I know those guys, it's just that... I didn't expect them to come here in this place.”
He lifts up the jacket that has been covering us earlier. I guess he's looking around for those guys that I've mentioned.
“Nah, they left awhile ago. Right before you covered us both in my jacket.” He lifts up the jacket with his fingers and grinned like a i***t in front of me.
Wait a minute... So they left right where I even covered ourselves into a jacket? “Then why the hell didn't you tell me! You know it's f*****g awkward to stay still in that position!” I raised my voice, Darn it. I can't even believe he can do that.
“I'm enjoying the moment though.” and he cupped my face with only his hand, “And don't worry, it won't ever happen again.”
“What? Why?”
He uncovered the jacket from my head and sighed, “I've been bothering you, or... I think it's the other way around. But still, I know you hated my presence around Caspia. So I have to move around away from you. I know you've been dreaming of me going away from Caspia ever since you know me as the Vampire Prince. Maybe it's for the best of us, Syd.”
He props his face into his hands, “You wanted it, right?”
