Saana's POV
I peered out the window when I heard the manly shouts and whistles of the guards as the cart came rolling into the palace grounds.
Ethan rode with Alpha Kieran while Lyra sat in the back with her kills in her right hand.
I chuckled.
What did I expect from a fragile Omega who'd stayed indoors all her life, doing domestic work?
I'm sure Alpha Kieran caught the bigger wildebeest, and my Ethan caught the smaller one.
I pulled away from the window and sat at my dresser.
Now, the real preparations would begin. Luckily it was noon already, and the banquet won't start till about midnight.
The door creaked open, and Lyra staggered in.
I tried to suppress my laughter, for I couldn't understand why she was so ragged, and staggering like she drowned in a drum of ale–stout.
