Lyra's POV
“Saana?" I called.
She just walked past me like she used to before Anya left me.
All attempts at talking to her really went to waste. She didn't even look at me anymore.
“Lyra, what are you doing there, just staring at nothing?"
I turned to find Ethan staring at me with wary eyes.
I stepped back.
Did she tell him already? But we hadn't talked about not being friends anymore.
“It's not that. Uhm…I…I've been trying to talk to Saana since Suzanne came around, but I think she's a little jealous that I'm talking to the new girl.”
His countenance changed.
"Not in that way. I'm just trying to make Suzanne feel like she belongs. She really is lonely.”
