Chris’ POV
Out of the five hundred people only ten families came to me after the announcement. They are obviously not happy with my decision. I stand and watch as they debate what they want to say. When it becomes clear that they are not going to say anything, I start the initiative. Might as well get this over with.
“Listen, I know that you are upset.” I tell them.
“No, I don’t think that you do, your Highness.” One of the males said.
I glare at him and he bows his head in submission. “Why do you think that I don’t?” I ask, sincerely.
“Your highness, may I?” One of the ladies asked. I nod. “Some of us don’t have any means to have someone escort us.” She says with a blush.
