He got me Pregnant?

" Say what now? " I haven't really processed it well. I faced Dina with my are-you-kidding-look and she just repeated what she just said.

" I said you will be working as an intern in Geremy's company and you'll be assigned where ever you are needed! No one is allowed to know that you are the CEO's brother-in-law since that would cause a problem and I don't want you to be treated as special. I specifically requested it cause I have this feeling that you'll just laze around the company and just sleep somewhere in the corner. " Dina continued talking and I just rolled my eyes crossing my arms. Why do I have to work, and an intern to that!? Everybody knows interns are the subject of bullying in the company. The employees will work me to death.

" But that would be a lot of work Dina! " I whine at her, she knows that I'm painfully lazy yet she's doing this to me. How sure is she anyway that I won't mess things up?

" That's the point, little brother! You need to work that body! I bet you don't even have strength left in that rusty bones and muscles of yours. " Dina mocked, I squinted my eyes at her.

" My strength is perfectly normal and my body is extremely flexible. " I defended.

" That's not the point. Just listen to me or I'll tell mom you're being stubborn again. " She threatened, causing me pout. I'm not scared with mother, I just hate it when she nags at us when she's worried about me or Dina.

" Why must you do this to me? " I flashed my green cat eyes at her hoping she would change her mind. But she just gave me this boring look! Damn, I could have sworn my cat-eye hasn't failed me yet! Father and mother always gave in and Dina too since I know she loves me so much.

" Don't let me make your work double Kis! Your eyes won't work to me starting today and I'm telling you if I hear you skipping work I'm dragging you back home and make you my pet instead. " Dina threatened again now crossing his arms. My mouth dropped open and looked at her again with my cat eyes and ears popping out.

" You wouldn't! " I said acting stunned.

" Really now? Cute, but still No! " she chuckled.

" I really can't win against a pregnant woman, do I? " I hid my ears as a sign of defeat and I held her tummy to feel the presence of the new member of our family.

" No you can't so just give up already. " she laughed at me and that made me pout at her. I really don't get why Dina and Mother want me to ask them what I want when all I ever wanted is given to me already. I am very blessed that faith gave me a family that is so loving and cheerful. I couldn't really ask for more. Before I was sent to the orphanage, I didn't know what I was and where I came from. I couldn't remember anything and even up until now. It's not that I want to remember my past, I'm just thankful that I am with my family now.

" How's my Queen and my future Princess? " Geremy greeted when we were finally inside his office. To avoid people from seeing us come, Dina and I used Geremy's private elevator leading exactly towards his private room that is connected to his office.

" We're okay! Just barely survived her Uncle's plea. " Dina replied as they gave each other a quick kiss making me roll my eyes. Geremy is really a good man, I have not heard of a day when he had hurt Dina so I'm not against him. Geremy is 7 years older than Dina and the only thing I'm angry about is that he impregnated Dina right after she graduated from medicine, she's 23! Yes maybe at the right age to get pregnant and married but to get pregnant right after you graduate? It's like you just studied Medicine for how many years then just to get pregnant right after?? I would have punched his face if Dina isn't happier than before. So right now, it's okay.

" Kis, I haven't seen you since our... " Geremy gave me a small pat on my shoulder but I didn't let him finish his speech.

" Yes! Yes, we haven't! Long-time no see. " I answered cutting Geremy off. The last time we meet was on their wedding day. I can't just not attend my precious sister's wedding, do I? I'm lazy but I set my priorities, though after the ceremony I went sleeping somewhere I can't remember.

" Yeah! And uhmm how are you? " he asked me, hoping that the tension between us would lessen since he knew how angry I was to him when I discovered Dina was pregnant. Geremy is Dina's long term boyfriend and of course, the whole family knew their relationship from the very start. They even promised to focus on career first before considering marrying but I didn't really expect that he would just let Dina graduate and marry her right after. I thought it would be after like 5 years.

" Don't bother asking him, babe! He's too lazy to even talk. " I rolled my eyes again then Geremy gave me a final pat on my shoulder and a smile then went to Dina who was now sitting in the visitor's chair.

" So? Am I supposed to start now? Or later?" I asked not facing them and instead exploring my eyes inside the room. The room is rather boring, just plain grey wall, a white ceiling, a huge table for him to work on and a chair, two red-colored visitor's chair, a black leather couch facing his table with a small coffee table. Two medium size cabinet in the left side beside the door where I think where his visitors would come in and go, a glass window with a folded curtain at the other side and finally a door that leads to his private room. Nothing fancy and just plain boring.

" You start now Kis! Babe, please call Lorna for her to instruct Kis with his work. " Dina says making me pout at her. I guess I can't change her mind now. Geremy then called this Lorna, his secretary, and a few seconds later a woman at her 40's (maybe?) walked inside the room. Dina signaled me to follow her so I did.

' Why must I do this, really? I'm a cat and I'm lazy so why? '
