After talking to everyone, I found out there would be a barbecue in Rocinha tomorrow at lunchtime, and I was excited to take my sweetheart... I couldn't wait to see her.
"You head home, I'll go pick up the two girls," VK said, giving me a fist bump.
"Alright... just don’t tell anyone I left." He nodded and headed to Rocinha to get them. I got home, took a long shower which I needed. I changed out of those grimy prison clothes, and put on shorts and a loose shirt.
I heard the girls expressing their gratitude for being home again and chuckled quietly from the top of the stairs.
"And Gabriel??? When is he getting out?" Lua asked.
"How about this one?" I said, and the two screamed, ran up the stairs, and jumped on me. I laughed, lifting them both in a hug.
