The next day . . .
I arrived in front of a very fancy building, and Mirella was coming towards the door. She greeted a man, and I frowned as she got into the car.
“Hey.”
“Who was that?” I asked, and she looked at me.
“Who?”
“The guy you greeted.”
“Oh, the doorman...”
“Hmmm.”
“Let’s go, GB.” I rolled my eyes and started the car. We arrived at a fancy clinic too.
“Why are you having an appointment here?”
“Because I want to.”
“There’s a clinic in the community.”
“I haven’t lived there for a few months. It wouldn’t make sense, right?” she said, getting out. I followed her, and we went in. We were attended to right away and didn’t even have to wait. The place was impressive.
