“That is not a good surprise, you know..” I said immediately when I answered my phone. "You are my best friend! You shouldn't have done that!"
“Well..I can see that you are not happy with my surprise! I just thought that you will be delighted.” Chiara giggled.
Why does she find this funny?
“Why would I be?”
“Well because you and my cousin were…” she paused as if she can’t find the right word but I spoke first so she wasn't able to finish her sentence.
“Whatever we were..that’s in the past. So please, don’t ever do something funny or I will really hate you!” I warned her.
“Hey, why sound so serious?”
