ABDALLAH As we enter their house, I’m reminded about why Sophia is having trouble at my place. This house is a mansion in the least. Considering the face that only 4 people ─3 now─ live here, it is a bit too much. But who am I to judge them? It’s the way they prefer to live. For me, I like having a small place where everyone knows where the other person is. Where there is a fixed time for lunch ─every day─ and dinner ─only on Sundays─ and the whole family eats together. I know how things work out in this house. Aahil always talks about them. His father is working all day, his mother never at home. I get why he runs away from his ‘house’. No amount of decoration can change the fact that this place wasn’t meant to be a home; a place to be at peace after a long day at work. It’s haunting;
