I held Toby in my arms as we sat on the bathroom floor of the restaurant we were in. He was shaking like a leaf having a panic attack. Tears were streaming down his cheeks and his breathing was uneven.
He'd thought he saw Adam walk into the restaurant and ran to the bathroom immediately, didn't even wait to see if it was Adam or not. I followed after him and found him in a stall having this panic attack so I sat down with him and held him and fifteen minutes later it was still going on.
I stroked his hair gently and held him tighter and tighter. He began to calm down and that's when I made him look at me. His blue eyes were huge and puffy and his face was red but he looked so cute.
"Are you okay?" I asked him and he nodded. "Adam can't hurt you Kitten." I said reassuringly.
