~Joanna The beach was quiet and still, the waves lapping against the shore with a soft, rhythmic hush. The stars shone overhead, twinkling like tiny diamonds against the inky black sky. Adrian and I walked hand-in-hand, our fingers entwined as we made our way towards a small beachside bar. The air was warm and salty, the smell of the ocean filling our senses. We approached the bar, the owner nodding his head in greeting. "What can I get you?" he asked, his voice friendly and welcoming. Adrian smiled, turning to me.
