~Lanre I let out a deep sigh, rolling over in the plush bed, desperately trying to find a comfortable position. The sheets tangled around me as I shifted, my mind restless and my body stiff. Beside me, Joanna lay fast asleep, her gentle snoring filling the stillness of the room. “Good grief,” I muttered under my breath. The sound was so loud, so unrestrained. “If you’re not snoring like a chainsaw, you’re talking my ear off. How am I supposed to get any sleep?” I pulled the pillow over my head, pressing it tightly against my ears, hoping it would muffle the noise.
