Ruby A black kitten sits at my door. It's the tenth time this week that I find the black kitten sitting at my door, looking up at me with puppy eyes, begging me to be its mother. Unfortunately, I hate desperation so I chase it away. But this time, it doesn't scurry away. It sits on my red heels and looks up at me with those pretty little puppy eyes. My heart warms. Love at first sight. Well, love at tenth sight but that's not the point. Slow-burn love is also cute and that's what's happening here. I unlock the door and pick up the kitten.
