I stop at the restaurant to buy some burgers, chicken and fries with three sodas.
A few minutes later, I kill the engine and walk into the motel. I drag the huge suitcase with me all the way up to our room after getting the keys at the reception.
When I walk into the room, I can't help but smile when I see Kathy Jenner. She immediately stands up from the bed, looking confused and excited.
Earlier at the funeral, I gave Kathy a little note asking her to meet us at Merryland Motel. At first, she didn't believe it. She thought it's some kind of prank or trap to finish her off like her daughter. I'm surprised that she showed up.
