Richard The door swings open. Ruby walks in, a frown on her face. I wonder if that frown has anything to do with my reaction this morning. My cold silence followed by my cold words. That's enough to put a constant cold frown on anyone's face. She sinks into the seat and forces a smile when she looks up at me. She's not one to force a smile but this whole situation has forced her to force a smile. I hate myself for doing that to her. "Sorry for my reaction this morning." I start. "I was a dìck for doing that." A cold silence follows. The forced smile is gone. Replaced with a stern face. I prefer the stern face. It's not fake. "I've thought about it." I say sharply. "I want to be a father. I want us to start a family." Her face beams with a smile but she's still silent as a corpse.
