Michael went to a side wardrobe and brought out a pair of military jungle uniforms and handed them to Stephen.
He looked at them – the trouser and the jacket. They were smartly pressed. He removed the white hospital uniform and tried the military apparel. They were a perfect fit. Next was the Army cap and boots. Felix was helpful enough to offer a hand at straightening out some crisps on the jacket with his hands and setting out a giant mirror against the wall for Stephen to assess his appearance. What he saw was a tough-looking military officer. He liked what he saw.
“Time to go and see the outside world,” Dr. Felix said.
