Leonard wasn't shooting from his heart as he was busy thinking about Nandini, his director and team had noticed his behavior. The director even talked to Scott about Leonard's matter but Scott lied to Director and told him that Leonard is worried about too many projects, that are over his head and he doesn't have time to shoot them.
