Taking Monday off to pack up my old single-wolf quarters and unpack at Cillian's suite had been heaven, but walking into the staff lounge this morning had thrown me straight into a whirlwind. The second-grade team and the rest of the teachers had crowded around me with bright squeals and gasps the moment they caught the flash of gold. My left hand was snatched up immediately, the simple white gold band catching the fluorescent light.
