“What is it?” asked Sam quietly. She shook her head slightly. She knew perfectly well that her little one wasn’t dead and the only reason she acted that way was because of her fear. “I…I don’t know, but he isn’t dead,” said Charlie quietly as she turned her gaze towards the hole in the ceiling. “But maybe I should ask him, shouldn’t I? Just incase?” Sam frowned and nodded his head, giving her a quick grin. She smiled thankfully at her little brother. “Thank you,” she whispered, her voice barely audible as the tears began to roll down her cheeks. “You really saved my life back there, you know.
