“How far into the forest did he wander to?” asked the other man. His voice reminded Dean of a snake’s hiss, although he couldn’t figure out what exactly he was supposed to call it. “It was pretty far. He hasn’t seen anyone except for a few animals,” replied the other man. He took out something resembling a cigarette, lit it and took a long drag. He then blew it out slowly. “I hope he didn’t find anything useful. Those woods are dangerous.” “Well, we’ll take our leave then. Let us know if you hear any noises in the night.
