Chapter 4:the gathering of powers

648 Words
The pack spent the whole night strategizing and Elena made sure every warrior had a protective charm against Seraphina's spell. She herself knew very well that Seraphina's power isn't ordinary and for someone who was born a low born couldn't be able to cultivate that much strength. Rafael with his dragon's bond was able to signal his fellow dragons and a total of five hundred hidden dragons flew overnight . It wasn't hidden news anymore, the tribrid foretold to defeat seraphina had been found, and everyone was eager to give their all for this battle to be won. The air smell of war and the sky was b****y red as if crying for the souls to be killed. Malisa knelt down as each clan surrounded her and started blessing her. This was mandatory as it transports her soul into the spirit realm where she gets the blessings of the previous tribrid before her and. Her soul now in astral form traveled thousands of years into the past and when she regained stamina she was in the center of the ocean. “Child of prophecy” She heard and looked behind but no one was there “I am here “ the voice said again and she looked at the water but instead of her own reflection, she saw the reflection of a much advanced woman with the same face as hers but with a fish tale. “ Fret not my child”, the reflection said and she felt herself touching the water just to be swallowed into the water. When she opened her eyes again she saw three mermaids and a merman each holding a scepter. “ Child of prophecy” the middle mermaid called out and started swimming away followed by the other merfolks. Malisa tried inhaling but discovered she was a mermaid. Her legs were now replaced with tails and they were gills on her neck. Her hands now had scales and her fingers were no longer long like it was. She touched her face and felt it was filled with scales, even her neck and body. She quickly swam forward so as to keep up with the others . They swam for a while before stopping at an underwater cave where she was told to go in alone. “ You must remember my child”, the mermaid who later introduced herself as Cleopatra warned. “ For everything you see is deception but you must choose one, for with a wrong choice comes death and your real body dies. Malisa swam into the cave and before she could ask further what to look for a current pushed her deeper only for her to see herself in the midst of several stone mermaids and mermen. Each status has a different color of gem on their head and ancient words written on them but surprisingly she discovered she could understand them. She looked around and thought of Cleopatra's words,”for everything you see is deception but you must choose one.” She looked at all and swam towards the prettiest status with the biggest gem. She closed her eyes and meditated for a few seconds before opening her eyes which had turned silver. She stretched her hands out and the gem flew into it merging with her then the rest of the statue turned dust leaving her and the one she choose. “ You have more insight than others do , child” a voice from the statue said and for that you have my blessing and just then she felt herself being drawn into a void and felt like she was falling on a high place. When she opened her eyes again she was in a green land. Everything looked lively and tiny and big figures passed by her all happy. Then it clicked to her that it was the land of the fairies.
